Bought for my grandaughter, used in my Jeep Liberty, great new slender style fits better than other bulky boosters. Cup holder expands with elastic to hold bigger/odd shaped water bottles and/or drinks. Would buy again for other grandaughter.

My almost 4 year old is over 40 lbs. so it was time to upgrade. He loves this seat! It’s light weight so he’s able to move the booster himself to a different spot in our minivan and he’s able to put his seatbelt on and take it off all by himself. All of this makes him feel like a big boy. Also, he’s mature enough to listen when we say he must never take the seat belt off while the car is moving. Keep that in mind when deciding on this type of seat.
My son doesn’t fall asleep in the car much anymore, so I was not concerned about having support on the sides. I would definitely not recommend these backless boosters for a child younger than 3 for that reason.
I’m not a big traveler, but I can imagine using this lightweight seat on planes and rental cars, without the expense of renting or lugging a full-size, heavy car seat.
I purchased this booster seat for my 7 year old who has to start riding in a booster again due to the upcoming law change on Sept 1st. We chose this seat because of the thick padding. No other booster seat comes close to being this soft. The drink holder is great but may not stand the test of time, we will see. We test drove this seat for a couple of weeks and she is in love. Just ordered her another so we can have one in each car. Perfect booster for older kids.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety tested 60 different makes and models of child car booster seats, and only 15 of the 60 seats — seats usually used by 4- to 8-year-olds — got top ratings. Evenflo Big Kid AMP No Back Booster Car seat was one of the “Best Bet” booster seats by the institute. My son loved the seat because of the red color. I love the seat because of the easy of using it in any vehicle and the padding and wipable seat cover. We liked it so much, we purchased the same one for the grandparents to use.

I purchased this for my seven year old. She is average size and fits just fine. I really like the drink holder because it can accomodate any shape drink. It looks like it will be easy to wipe clean. Compared to others that I tested at stores, this had the best cushion for the price.
