I bought one of these and once I figured out how to use it it was great! Very easy to setup and love that my 9 month old daughter can’t scratch herself on it because it is cloth. Love that it folds up as we live in a small place and don’t have much extra storage space. The key is to set the gate up and use the larger adjustment first (sliding the bar open) and then use the fine adjustment (turning the knob heads) to make it snug in the doorway and then lock it shut. You can remove the gate easily without messing up your setting (as long as you don’t try to fold it, if you do fold it you will need to reset it up the next time you use it).

Good travel gate for smaller openings. Twist and fold mechanism makes setting up and putting away pretty easy, but be careful not to do it wrong or it could get jammed. I had one gate of two that this happened to right out of the box. Sent it back as faulty as the other gate was fine, but now I’m always careful just in case.

I purchased this gate thinking it would be great to use at home and at grandparents’ house and so thought the extra money would be worth it. The gate did fold up easily and fit easily into the carrying case. However, that is the only thing that was easy about it. It was so difficult to adjust in the doorway. One corner piece was not exactly even so the top of the gate was secure, but the bottom would not stay flush against the door frame. My 10 month old just pushed out the bottom of the gate to get out. I would NOT recommend anyone purchasing this gate.

I purchased this gate b/c I have 11 month twins that were everywhere, with three other kids all over the house as well. The older kids want to go upstairs, and then come downstairs without the hassle of moving a gate. My husband on the other hand does not like ruining the walls with holes, so I selected a pressure mounted gate. But the gate does not mount to my doorway, or for that matter any doorway in this house. To me it was a total waste of money. For my circumstances, I do not care for the gate.
