I bought this because we have a VERY active family. We are always on the go to soccer fields, football games, ect. Since we live on the south east coast, we have those NASTY sand gnats! Sand gnats (some call them no-see-ums) are those teeny, tiny bugs that don’t just bite but actually SHRED your skin. Talk about an “OUCH”! This bug net actually had holes small enough to keep them off my newborn. He never seemed to get hot underneath it and it helped keep pesky stranger fingers away from him! My only wish was that it was white like the picture. Mine came in navy which makes it a little hard to see him through the net. I was not given a color choice so I assumed at the time of order that it would be white like in the picture.
All in all, I’m very happy with this product.

The most annoying thing about this product is that it has a solid white panel right down the center, so you can’t see your child’s face. I don’t think the solid panel is that breathable either. I wish the entire cover was made of the mesh material as shown in the picture. They really need to update picture or sell what they’re actually advertising.

A few of these reviews are older so their discription of this product is different. It actually looks just like the picture. It is white in color and there is no strip down the middle like some people stated, you can see inside. It provides sun protection and lets air flow through, great for hot summer days, safer than a blanket cover. It keeps bugs away. It also fits on the babies bouncer and our Maclaren stroller. You can’t beat the price.

It’s easy to see how this cover protects against the sun since this netting is hardly see through. There are just two small side panels that are actually mesh like expected. The main fabric has holes in it but is a solid fabric NOT like the picture on Amazon or on the box that it comes in. I have since purchased the GRACO brand netting, and it is mesh as pictured.

I ordered this product thinking it would look like the picture, when in fact, it does not. There is a big solid white panel down the middle that blocks your view into the carseat. When I approached the seller for refund, he would not refund my money as it was a gift off of my registry and now I am stuck with a product I can’t use. The seller is not willing to try to change the picture nor admit that they were selling a different product than they were advertising…I would find something else…
