  • We bought the Stokke when we still lived in the Netherlands and we started using it as soon as our son was about six months old. In Europe they sell a infant-kit with the Stokke, sadly you can not buy one here and our hope is that they will start doing that really soon because we have eight month old twins and it puts us for a real big dillema for what to do without a stokke for them. But we have been using the Stokke KinderZeat for over 2 years now and I cannot say anything negative about it. Our son just loves his chair, he has always been part of our meals. He used it for crafts, playtime, just name it and it has been used for. It is truly worth every penny you put in it and to be honest I even like sitting on it!!!!

My brother, who is now 26 years old, has one of these that he had from the time he was a wee one. It is the best chair that we’ve ever owned… much better than some plastic booster seat to put on a regular chair. Plus, since this is fully adjustable, we are still able to use it today …for adults!

My husband and I will be buying one for our son in a few months, and I’m thrilled about the prospect of having one at our house!

  • I purchased one of these in 1979 for my first born. All my children used it and to this day I still own it and use it as an extra chair at the table for guest. When they state “that it grows with your child”, they are right on the money. I have given these as gifts to other parents and they too have loved them. You money is very well spent on this product. Worth every penny.

I just purchased two of these chairs after seeing them online and reading the great reviews. I think they are a great idea. My older daughter is 4 and my younger is 18 months and this seat works great for both. I bought the seat cushions to go with them as well. I use the waist buckle with my younger daughter and it holds her in fine. It’s the same type as the one in the plastic seat we were using. Now she can sit up at the table with the rest of the family. She liked it so much I could hardly get it put together before she was trying to climb up and sit on it. My older daughter likes hers as well. It’s better than the soft booster seat we were using that would slide all around in the chair. I like the fact that it is easily adjustable to the right size. We should be able to use it for many years – even after the kids are grown since it holds up to 300 pounds. My husband thought it was a little pricey but personally I don’t mind spending the money if I feel it is a worthwhile purchase which is how I feel about this chair.

Bought this chair over a year ago. Thought it was the most attractive highchair on the market. And “Wow! She’ll use it for years! Maybe she’ll even use it as her desk chair when she’s studying in college!” Loved it up until this morning, when we had to call 911 after she pushed herself over backward (and was semi-unresponsive) in the chair. If you have hardwood floors, it works just fine…it slides back easily. We just moved to a house with rough stone floors and it does not slide at all (even after putting flet “sliders” underneath), therefore it tips backward with little effort. I hope you take this into consideration if you have stone or carpeted floors. Now I’ll be looking for a chair with a tray.
